The Lafarge Research Center in France is the largest building materials laboratory in the world. Its activities are complemented by local teams in a network of technical centers around the globe. The technical center in North America, known as Corporate Technical Services, is located in Montreal.

Lafarge has formal partnerships with some of the world's best research teams and universities in North America including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Georgia Tech, University of California at Berkeley, Columbia University, Princeton, the Universities of Toronto and Sherbrooke and Laval University in Quebec.

Events in North America

From New York to California, our partnerships lead to many events to contribute to discussions on urbanism, architecture and sustainable construction. For example, in partnership with the Columbia's Graduate School of Architecture, students will focus on new models for U.S. cities for three months. We also participate in key industry trade shows on an annual basis.
